Position Summary
Support and expand technology and process research and implementation at
Samsung-ADC by performing high level strategic analysis of moderate to
complex business problems using both internal and externally generated
data. This position will collaborate directly with customers, and
vendors and will be responsible for selling new ideas and processes to
our business partners, This position will work directly with executive
level leadership to explore and analyze new ideas related to logistics,
warehouse operations, supply chain management, finance, and contract
terms primarily through the collection and analysis of data,
benchmarking studies, competitive intelligence, and self generated
ideas.
Common Essential Duties & Resp.
- Support senior management through special studies, project management
and research including competitive analysis, best practices,
benchmarking and statistical studies.
- Collaborate directly with customers, SEA Sales and Supply Chain
Operations teams, and other ADC team members to create methods to
optimize inventory placement.
- Develop reporting methods and processes and conduct analysis on progress
toward achieving organizational and corporate objectives.
- Test plans with vendors and customers on new technology, systems
integration, and functionality
- Responsible for KPI development
- Improve and maintain systems and processes of information for
distribution
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- Bachelor degree in engineering, mathematics, or analytical sciences
- Minimum 5 years of experience at a technology based logistics
operation in a planning or analytical role
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze complex and incomplete
data using formal statistical analysis
- Ability to make business direction recommendations on moderate to
broad scoped project analysis
- Demonstrated ability work with and influence executive level customers
- Capability to manage projects of large scope , lead ad hoc teams, and
supervise staff level employees
